the KneelingElephant: African Black History is constantly stepped on and desecrated

kneelingelephant:

Does anyone remember that time when that team of African archaeologists made a tour in Europe digging up Royal tombs and sending back the artifacts to Africa?? I don’t cause it never happened. WHY is it OK for Archaeologists from all over the world to go and dig up and collect traditional African artifacts and relics and store them in personal private collections and museums in Europe and elsewhere in the world but Africa? Look at the Pharaohs, these were great Kings who influenced world history. Yet they are dug up and displayed all over the world, the African symbols are desecrated, their coffins are opened for the public. More Black People should start asking these questions.

There’s something symbolic and fundamental in how the world treats our historical artifacts.

Think about it. That’s how our personal history and our identities are treated today.

THERE’S A DIRECT CONNECTION!
